SAMOSA AND SPRINGROLL

HOW TO MAKE SAMOSA AND SPRINGROLL

Good day all, this is another bright day of awesomeness. Today am going to show us how to make Samosa and springrolls.

Ingredients:

  1. Flour
  2. Milk
  3. Sugar
  4. Water
  5. Cabbage
  6. Carrots
  7. Green Pepper or Normal Pepper
  8. Seasoning  and Curry and Thyme
  9. Eggs
  10. Onions
  11. Groundnut Oil
Process:

  • Firstly you wash the cabbage, carrots, green pepper and onions. When you done with that, you cut them in shreds and put in a clean bowl. You then place a deep pot on the cooker with little quantity of the groundnut oil, let it get hot a bit.
  • Put in the onions, cabbage, carrots and pepper and stir all together, then cover the pot for 15 minutes. As it is getting boiled you add the seasoning you want depending on your preference, also add curry and thyme, then stir again and it now ready.
  • For the skin mixture that is for the samosa and springroll, you put the quantity you want in a deep bowl, add sugar and mix well. You then add water into the bowl and mix making sure no mole is left, add milk I mean liquid or you may use powdered. Mix all very well making sure it is so smooth. After that you add an egg and mix all.
  • Place a frying pan on the cooker, add little groundnut to prime the frying pan. You prime by using a small tissue paper for that. You start by using brush and putting it in the flour mixture and spread on the frying pan as much as you want. When you see it is getting dried you remove it and place it on a board where flour has been placed so as not to make it stick to the board. You do as much as you like repeating what you did for the first one.
  • You cut in conical shapes for the Samosa while the Springroll is in rectangular shapes, you then mold and put the sauce which we got from the cabbage and you make sure it is covered properly so as to avoid it scattering in the frying pan.
  • You start frying them and placing them in a flat board and you will get this:

I do hope you all will learn something new and will want your encouragement so as to get you more recipes.
